2010 delayed shift from first to second gear
Recently I had this very weird shifting issue.
I own a Mitsubishi Outlander 2010 1900cc
4wd model( 4h,4L, diff lock). Japan Imported
It all started with just the abs light that went on simultainiously with the check engine light. The 4wd immediately stopped working.
The car was brought to several Mitsubishi mechanics. They said the wheelbearings were rusted so the speedsensors could not get a reading speed while driving. Changed the back wheelbearings and the lights shut off only for a couple of days. After a couple of days the car started shifting late to second gear but only on the first acceleration on every startup. When you already pass 2, 3,4 and so on back to full stop and accelerate again, the car is driving just fine. Very weird. It does the delayed shifting every time on the first acceleration only. Got me thinking about a Software/ computerbox issue?
