2015 model DayRunning Lights & Head Lights On

As soon as I turn ignition switch on both headlights and led day running lights turn on together.- day time driving.
When I turn headlights on the DRL's turn off as expected.
I understand all switching is controlled by the ETACS system.
Where is the ETACS is located in the 2015 2.0 litre FWD Outlander please
Replacement has been priced at upwards of $2500.
Has anyone experienced this fault before?
Any alternate solutions ?

The ETACS is the fuse box behind your glovebox.

For that kind of money i would live with it. Battery disconnecting will reset the etacs everytime till the fault shows again. Then you lights will stay on

Great advice re Battery Disconnect. Did that about a week ago and fault cleared and has not returned so far.
Thank you for passing on your knowledge.
Interesting that local Mitsi dealer didn't think to suggest or try that.:)
