What are the thoughts on transmission service intervals? I'm all for maintenance, but I'm cheap too :rolling:
'Recommended' service seems like it's 30k miles. I haven't looked to see if I can drain and fill myself (easily) or if it's a pain. I've done a drain and fill on 2011 F150 with a 'sealed' pan. It just had a fill port and dip stick on the side of the trans. So doable, but annoying PITA.
Also, driving is a fair mix. Maybe 60/40 highway/city. No towing. No snow or mud, all road.
