Hi all, does anyone know the backwards/cross compatibility between the 2023 PHEV and 2022 models regarding parts?

Specifically oil filters, air filters, etc.

Amazon seems to not have picked up on the 2023 PHEV compatibility just yet, as anytime I try to find parts it returns an error. I'm sure it'll get put into the system before too long, but in the event I need to find something sooner it would be great to know if other model parts would suffice. Thanks!

I'm a new owner of a 2023 as well and I'm looking for all-weather floor mats. There are many for the 2022 but as you say, Amazon will not recognize the PHEV version of anything I look up. Neither will Weathertech and others. Is the floor of the PHEV so different from the ICE???

I suppose you could always try and find out. There may be a difference due to the battery sitting under the floor on the PHEV.

FWIW you can also order OEM floor mats for the 2023 PHEV from a Mitsubishi dealer, they're a bit cheaper than WeatherTech and look pretty similar.

I finally bit the bullet and purchased official Mitsu mats from my dealer. Very nice heavy rubber with high sides to hold water. As per "ghen" (above) the driver mat will only connect to one of the floor nobs, the one near the door. The other is a few inches off. These mats are for the standard Outlander, not PHEV model. But I can't complain. The fit is great, and they don't move when my wife gets in/out. And they gave me a NCD discount on the bill that made the cost $135 US.

Interesting you all seem to have the floor knob issue, mine connected no problem. Not sure if there's a slight difference and maybe you're getting old dealer stock for the previous gen.

Oil filter is the same. Air filter and plugs are different.

Although the engine physically looks the same it is very different to the old 4b12 or 4 B11
