I had the software update done about a month ago and that didn't work, either. When you have the phone on the charger for a few minutes, it stops charging regardless the percentage. You have to constantly monkey with its position and pray it doesn't move. This is regardless whether there is a case of any kind on the phone. Removing the mat just makes the phone slide around.
I have a 2022 SEL and it does the same thing. It is a known defect with this vehicle and Mitsubishi does not have a fix. My car went to the dealership and they compounded the issue by replacing the module and they bricked my car. Now it sits a the dealership not able to start or turn on. DO NOT take it in for this just buy a charging cable and deal with it.
A guy has a youtube video on the problem. He says disconnect the car battery (negative post only one needed to be disconnected), wait a few minutes, reconnect and the phone charger should work. It did in the video. I need to do this because mine doesn't work.
Not sure if this is any help or not. I was having an issue with mine not charging too, but it wasn't that it was not charging all the time. The problem was that my phone was sliding around in the charging tray and moving off the point where it needed to be to charge. I designed and 3D printed a frame that sits in the tray and holds my phone in place and now I don't have an issue anymore. This may not be the case for everyone on here, but it certainly was an issue for me with regards charging.

Wanna share the file for it by chance? Thanks
