Parking Sensors Going Haywire

610 Views 1 Reply 2 Participants Last post by  Turkeys
Hey, everyone...

'22 SEL. When I'm going speeds around 30mph and lower, my front sensors all seem to be going off whenever something even looks at them funny. It can be distracting because there will literally be no cars around me and the beeping starts, accompanied with the camera taking over the center panel. I've checked to make sure they and the camera are clean and there seems to be nothing there. Anyone else had this issue?

You should bring this to the dealer ASAP, you could have defective park sensors. Your front bumper should have 4 circles on it, these are sensors that determine the distance of objects close by. During hot weather the adhesive can soften and these can shift or pop out. They could be installed incorrectly or malfunctioning.
