Can anyone tell me what the road noise is like in the new PHEV when travelling at high speeds (100-120 km/h)? I only had around 15 mins for my test drive, which wasn't enough time to get a proper sense of how quiet the cabin is. I want to be able to listen to the radio and classical music while driving on the hwy, without having to blast the volume.

I'd be getting either the base trim ES or the SEL, so if wheel size makes a big difference that would important to know.

I agree with both Hasenphever & JohnMitsu Outlander PHEV is very quiet .
At speed 120 - 130 km/h car still running on electric motors and all you can hear is little bit of wind and tires and to add car is very comfortable and I enjoy the quility of ride , noise level and interior materials all together with fuel consumption.

I agree with the noise levels but I don’t know if they all agree with the ride quality. We have the 2022 gas model with the SEL wheels. Over expansion joints either it be a bump or be a hole, the ride can get a little jarring. Overall it’s comfortable though. It may be different suspension tuning for the hybrids.

I saw on many videos reviewers say that PHEV has much better suspension than gasoline Outlander, also lower gravity due to battery position and weight. This is why PHEV Outlander has better handling and ride quility. If I remember well ICE Outlander has Nissan Rouge suspension and PHEV comes with Mitsubishi suspension, but I am not 100% sure.
