Both RAV4 and Outlander are great SUV's but the Mitsubishi wins if you need more passenger volume, a better deal (MSRP of the RAV4 starts high and options add up quickly), great standard tech, decent gas mileage, adequate power/torque, safety and more. For the average person that doesn't need much, the Outlander fits the bill in my opinion. If anyone else compared the two, what differences have you noticed?

I test drove both RAV4 and Outlander. There's no doubt that RAV4 drives and feels good on the road but so does the Outlander. A lot of people don't like a CVT but in my opinion it doesn't make much of a difference for an average driver. I am happy with the Outlander CVT, it is responsive and runs smooth.

Main difference I noticed between RAV4 and Outlander is the tech and other options. The tech and other options I got in my 2022 SEL Outlander would have required top trim level in RAV4. Also, I don't think any other carmaker can beat Mitsubishi warranty. I think at the end of the day if you go for RAV4 you are just doing it to buy a Toyota. In my opinion 2022 Outlander has RAV4 beat in every department.
