Hi folks.

I have Canadian outlander 2017 v6 engine with 60k kms. Is it time to change the timing belt? Local dealer told me they suggest this to be done on 100k kms or 7 years max. According to he maintenance schedule this should be done every 105k miles or 10 years. What do you think?

Regards,

Thanks for the reply, anon823. I am checking in this manual https://www.mitsubishicars.com/content/dam/mitsubishi-motors-us/images/siteimages/pdf/what-drives-us/warranty/2017MY Warranty Non Turbo Complete.pdf

It seems general for all Mitsubishi cars produces that year but even for the severe schedule 1, the belt change time is 10 years. I read that this is a kevlar belt that should no crack easily. Are you aware if this is the correct manual. For some of the older outlander (e.g produced 2012) it is indeed 84 months.
