Does anyone know how to update TomTom In Dash navigation in Outlander 2022? Owner's manual is no help. I tried both Mitsubishi and TomTom website to understand the process but couldn't find anything.

I'm at the dealer now and I asked the same question. I just made a similar post. The dealer thought it's what the state or county is transmitting? Let me know if you find anything else out.Does anyone know how to update TomTom In Dash navigation in Outlander 2022? Owner's manual is no help. Funny, I was at the dealer today for an oil change and I also had the back up camera updated. I said my map since the construction even though it's completed wouldn't directly route me home. The service tech didn't have an answer. Guess what, after the camera update, map is fine, coincidence? Perhaps, guess I won't know, but if you need the update check again.Does anyone know how to update TomTom In Dash navigation in Outlander 2022? Owner's manual is no help. Same Experience !!!!!!!!!!! Will not read USB STICK !!!!!!!!!!!!Thanks @Hydro
No joy.
0. I installed the Map Update Tool on my PC - DONE
1 Go to car and save map from car to a blank USB - DONE - used a newly formatted 100GB USB drive formatted to FAT32 - it created a TomTomNDSUpdate subdirectory with files
2 Plug USB into computer and Map Update Tool should start showing available updates, klick manage maps. - FAILED. Map Update Tool icon has a red dot and says "Can't read USB stick"
:
So unable to proceed to your next steps :-(
Pardon my ignorance, but what is a Camera Update ? What triggers an update? What is this camera update?
I guess I just need to hope they apply any software updates on my next scheduled service ...
you need first to put the usb stinc in your car and go to update section to put your map info in the stick. What email address did you used to reach them?
I'm having an issue with MAP UPDATE TOOL not recognizing DATA on my USB key.
Thanks
Hi, Have taken some screen pics of the steps needed to do update.
:
Select Manage Maps
:
Select Add Maps
:
SELECT Reset Map
I am selecting Oceania/Southeast Asia because I am in Australia.
Select the Region you come from.
:
Select Continue, this will download the full map to your USB.
Now do the update in your Outlander and it should work.
Please can you share this with me too. I'm in NZ and have been trying for days with multiple USB drives and keep getting the same error.Hi @Hydro - are you able to share with me a disk image of your USB disk (using Rufus) wth the latest maps loaded? I am in NZ so should be the same image as AU (Oceania)
